Extended soft lock at the end [spoiler]

I just finished the new episode; I tried to go for the "good" ending first, where you sacrifice yourself. Instead of reanimating my buddy robot however, we both were and stayed dead and the game soft locked, since I couldn't do anything anymore. I went back to the menu and restarted the checkpoint - the same thing happened. Is this only me? I had to go for the "bad" ending then which really hurt. ;(

I had the same issue, funnily enough, you can move around if you hit escape, then try to move with the menu up. He still sparks, and won't right himself, so you can fly upside down!

Just tried finishing the game while "dead", and it worked! So at least I tried to save him. Still got the achievment for finishing too. they'll never know my secret. would really like to see the "good end" however, hope it gets fixed

+1. And not only can I not get that ending, but upon reloading my save to go for the other ending, the game very wisely decides to respawn my dead partner with its propeller clipping through the lever that opens the route above, which I can't pull it out of. So guess I'm replaying the whole thing.

Try pressing Tab on your keyboard to open a command prompt. There is a command to restart from last checkpoint, if I remember correctly.
