Why will you not address this the controller layout is broken A=b Y=x etc.. the button prompts on screen do not work .At least tell us something..theres a patch.. theres not .. anything!!!! It says built for controllers yet it doesnt work i have already given you my money how about fixin it so we can play it the way its suppose to be

When I bought this game it stated that it could be played with a controller, and several days later this isue is still there, and not a word from the developers about it. This is extremly bad costumer service. This is not acceptable, it doesnt take many minutes for the developers to at least tell us if they are working on it, when it will be fixed etc. Been whatching these forum every day since the realese. I really want to play the game , but the keyboard and mouse controll is really bad. You are even stating it's meant to be played with a controller...did you even test this product before releasing? It's laughtable really, but this laught was not worth those money.

Ooooooh no! Several DAYS later, the issue still isn't fixed! An issue not caught in a month or two of quality assurance tests and constant bugfixing! And they haven't fixed it after a few days? What an outrage! Maybe they'll fix it sometime next month.

Hi, sorry for not replying about this topic sooner.

We are aware of the issues with non-official 360 and wireless controllers and I assure you we are looking into the problem and intend to update the title as soon as we can.

We're sorry this issue is present in the final game and it was a QA process failure on our part that we've already fixed for future titles.

We'll update you as soon as we have a target date for the patch.

this really blows my mind hardlightstudio..on one page you state the beta got released instead of final build.now you state that the issue is with non official xbox controllers...come on,get off your butts and fix the freakin game...its funny that the game was made for consoles and the controllers dont work correctly on a pc...makes me laugh...please stop side stepping and fix it

I use the non-official afterglow xbox controller. I like how A and X, B and Y, and the Start/Select and R3/L3 are all swapped. Plus the X-axis doesn't even control the camera. Thank god for ControlMK or else I would have submitted for a refund. "Press B to talk to somebody" No way, guys! PRESS Y! THEY ARE LYING TO YOU! or they just made a bad console to PC port and missed some things in QA. Oh well, I'm not mad. At least it's not like Black Ops where the player IS the QA. There are many games out there that people would still play with these kinds of issues. Just struggle through it and hopefully HardLightStudio will hold to their word... like a real Viking. Good Gaming friends, I'm off to bed.

I have an official xbox360 controller, that's not the problem. The game is the problem. I wish I could get my money back.

Same here as well. Haven't played (since buying it when it first came out) due to the controller issue. What I don't understand is WHY this hasn't been fixed by now....

I also bought this upon its release and have not been able to play it with any controlers I have?? Hope they fix it cause game looks cool but I guess Ill never know in its present state.

Either they're stumped (and incompetent) or they don't care/prioritize the issue.

Said QA process must have been non-existent. They probably just tested if Viking ran on the PC, and after confirming, released it. Or, at least, that's what it looks like to me.
