So they fixed performace problems and 30 FPS cap?
I think game's price is really good to buy today but I have got questions. I read some patches have been released for this game so these patches solved the performance problem and removed the 30 FPS cap? I have Intel I5 3570K CPU, GeForce 570 GPU and 8 GB RAM on Windows 7 64 Bit, can I play the game at 1920x1080 resolution fine? Thanks.

Nope, the 30 FPS cap is still active and there is currently no way to bypass it afaik.

Considering it's a port of a technically average game from 2007 , I find the performance to be pretty weak overall, about ~25-30 FPS on a GTX 460 on medium, high not playable at all, that said, it seems to run acceptable on my GTX 680, allthough the card is quite stressed at times.

I think a 570 SHOULD do fine on high settings, can't guarantee it though....

The Xbox controller and text issues have been fixed and I did not encounter crashes or such things.

Overall a solid game, just don't expect a masterpiece or something...

A four year old console game should run fine on highest settings on a 200 series Nvidia, never mind a 400-600 series.

The 30 fps is dissapointing... but it's still one of the most entertaining games I've ever played... I don't know why! Pretty fun game.

You are getting slowmotion because your currently running below 30fps. Note that animations in this game are frame rate locked to thirty. Generally this is a technique to improve performance on consoles and was not fixed for the pc. So the optimal way to play is to get it so you never drop below 30fps. The best thing for you to try is to open the configuration program and turn down some settings. I would recommend anti-aliasing and resolution and your game should be normal speed.

Same problem, FPS keeps dropping down like hell, its almost unplayable, I put down resolution, turned off anti aliasing and got everything at low and still it looks like a slow motion movie , running it on laptop CPU: i7 2630 QM 2,0 GHZ, 8Gb RAM, GPU: Nvidia GT540 M, OS: windows 8 64bit ... I was playing GTA IV and Crysis 2 on "hight almost everithing" with no problem :D and that this, do I have any choise or I have to play it like this. BTW like the game, it is simple but fun

They have been fixed? Is there a patchfile that I just cannot find? Because I cannot stand having games tell me to press my "A" and "B" "Buttons".. And it sure does..

I was refering to the issues that no text at all was displayed on Nvidia cards and that it would not recognize (some?) controllers.

Not even bothering with m+k in this game, so I don't know about wrong button prompts.....

The real issue is that on some hardware (most) the cpu is under utilized when high settings are selected making the game seem like you're walking in quicksand.
The graphics config says its 60hz?
