Subscribing to the discussion in case we find some real solution.
I'd like to believe that but I just tested playing with and without the 360 controller plugged in. Every time the lag is back without the controller... Its the controller.
EDIT: It seems that I am not the only one with this akward fix.

I mean, with all respect, I am a web developer and I well know things can be really a mess sometimes. Debugging is not the easiest work and yes, sometimes you initially can't really understand why things don't work. But you'll eventually have to because there are users that have to access your site, and use it... if it's broken, bye bye users.
Again, with all respect, we're now talking about a game problem that MANY people are experiencing and said problem prevent the game to be played. I really don't think that "We don't know" can be an acceptable answer. "We don't know but we're working on it day and night to solve the problem" would have been a better answer in my opinion.
