How to Install Mods
Yeah cause i havent seen a tread with this topic i thought im going to do one

So basicly the mods are the real fun about cortex command but cause steam workshop isnt implemented right now (it will be in the near future) i thought to tell people who dont know how to install the mods here

First of go to http://forums.datarealms.com/viewforum.php?f=61 this is the section of the Cortex Command forums where you can find mods just choose one and download it

Now you need a programm to unpack the mod folders every programm that can unpack a zip or rar file should work (i use 7zip)

Next go to your Steam folder under steamapps/common/cortexcommand and just drop the unzipped files into it

last but not least have fun :D

if you want to uninstall the mod just delet the file out of the cortex command folder

i hope i helped some guys who dont know how to mod the game and give them some more fun out of it

Thank you guys for the good feedback :D im realy happy that i helped some of you guys but dont forget to realy thank the community of cortex command for all this awesome mods and also data for making modding so easy ^^ i realy like the way how to install mods in CC cause its just simple drag and drop while other games (like minecraft) make it a real pain in the ass to mod this stuff (at least with 7zip with winrar its easy as cake) but still i hope that there will come some realy awesome mods for cc and i hope data will implement steam workshop support soon. i might also will take a look at how to mod cc (even when i know that i will realy suck at it because i have no clue whats so ever about lua files :P) and maybe in the near future if i understand it i make a thread about it too but only if nobody does it before me :D

TY! Keep hearing about mods but didn't bother looking into it because sometimes modding a game can be like studying for a linear algebra final with as much reading. Now that I know its relitively simple I'll have to give one a try.

great tutorial; thanks - pinned. This process will be much much easier once workshop integration is rolled out (working on it right now), but until then this is the way to go to start exploring the many amazing mods of the cc community

Okay, just found out what to do. Open finder and find the commandcortex app folder. Click on contents, and then drop the folder into resources. I wanted a new race of people so I downloaded the Warhammer mod.

Forgot to mention when you find the CC folder right click to show package content. Thats where you see contents and then resources.
