How to play a 1v1 versus match

I know there's the campaign available, but there appears to be no scenario option for a simple, base-on-base 1vc1 versus match/skirmish. I just want a 1v1 with friends for local multiplayer; is there a scenario I can download somehwere that will enable this?

I recall there was Brain versus brain, but it was disabled for some reason in latest version, altrough is perfectly functional... I am not sure where exactly to find it, but you need to find a text file responsible for skirmish scenarios in game files, open it with notepad and remove // before cordiantes of Brain Versus Brain gamemode.
