What do you mean by RPG like (Not too sure on the consept myself) and all i want to see is a much improved campaign. It's awsome idea but it really needs to be worked on and come on like it doesn't have to take years surely :D

I think he means that genericized D&D/WoW skillset and XP/levels.

i dont want to bust your guys ideas but data already announced a sequel namend cave engine that has a totaly different engine and is progammed by annother guy (who as data said himself is much more experienced at programming). you can already see some stuff on the datarealms forums and on his youtube account. still its not even in beta its an early alpha but i dont think that it will get RPG elements i mean they wont realy work cause yur guys die to fast so it wont matter that much and if they would get stronger and would get full health it would be boring cause by the end of a match or campain you have 2 or 3 super buffed guys that could take out 20 enemys at once what would be boring also if you want RPG elemts look at the datarealms forums in the modsection i think i saw an RPG mod a while ago its maybe a bit old but it should still work

Wait so they arn't going to be working on Cortex Command anymore? This is the game i have pid for and they arn't going to fix it up? Why not there is so much more they need to do with this game :(

No, just like Notch didn't stop updating Minecraft after anouncement of Scrolls and that 0x10 space game. Actually, the next thing that is planned to come out for Cortex Command is Steam Workshop intergration!

I didnt said data will abandon CC he will still work on it but he already had plans for a sequel Cave engine this runs on a different engine (that also supports Online Multiplayer) and is programmed by a totaly different guy so it works like this data programms CC and the other Guy is programming Cave Engine so you still get bug fixes data already said he is not done with CC yet i mean we still need the new exploration maps and i think he said that there will be alien factions implemented but god knows when he will implment it still im pationt and just wait every update day for CC will be a good day because i know it will provide me with new content thats also why the next patch takes so long because data had some big plans besides steam workshop

I think he wants the game to have a storyline mode. Well, it kinda already has, in scenario battles. You just have to know which ones they are. It totals to (I think) Eight maps over five gamemodes?
