Can I use a wired xbox controller for it?!?

I moved to pc about a year ago and was thinking about revisiting COD again (I skipped Ghost). Firstly what controllers is this compattible with and secondly is this game worth it at all?!

I try on games like insurgency and I do okay but for something Im so used to on the console I feel like using a controller.

Most likely yes. It's now standard for many games to have a form of xinput support. Even PC only games have it. We don't know for sure, but we most likely will see it.

I kind of hope they implement controller use for this game. I'd buy it if it did. You won't always get owned by K+M players if they can implement it the way Titanfall has their controller support. Always top 3 using a controller on Titanfall PC.

The Xbox 360 controller is compatible on PC with COD and many other games. Just plug it in. There is likely to be controller support in Advanced Warfare as there was in Black Ops 2 and Ghosts. It's a bit of a disadvantage against some M+K players but on the whole; you'll still do well if you're comfortable and decent with a controller. Having played Titanfail with one on PC; that was extremely easy with all the jumping around so I may use it on AW also.

Advanced Warfare mechanics add a whole new layer of movement that could benefit controller use - I used my 360 pad in Titanfall exclusively the whole time and tore apart many M+K players on there. Shame that game was dreadful but gamepad users shouldn't be underestimated either.

I agree J4MESOX4D, should not be underestimated.

I also have experience of playing in titanfall using the controller - and I did not see a strong difference between the 360 or 3 (there is a strong player gets more and more) and PC .
The fact that I can see is a large number of people that can not watch the recording as begins swayed by jerking his arm - professionals = 0)

as a pc gamer we never use a controller to play a first person shooter. its just pc master race unacceptable. mouse and keyboard are always used for a first person shooter game. controller is for games like dark souls or gta v when it finally comes to steam. never ever play with a controller on a game like this they will destroy you beacuse everyone else is using m+k. its faster and 1000x more precise. but cod is gay so i wouldnt pre order this game. i made that mistake with ghosts

Im suure Xbox 360 controllers work but to be more precise and effective using mouse and keyboard which is highly recommended.

I use a controller on BF 3 cuz it just feels weird with mouse and keyboard on that game.
