Dungeonbowl cannot get over securom activatrion

Hi, i got dungeonbown via bundlestars, activated it on steam, but to my surprise, an additional securom activation pops up which tells me that my serial is illegal and that i should contact support on [e-mail], which i did, which resulted in a error:

Remote host said: 550 Mailbox is inactive

So now what? Am i better off getting illegal software in future to save myself some hassle, or is there a way to still activate it?
