No, I'm not kidding. This is what I see when I start the game (controller isn't plugged in, keyboard doesn't have an analog stick):

I have no complaints about performance (it looks pretty fast on "high" so far), but this is just ridiculous :/

EDIT: I found invisible buttons that let you set the keys manually... But there's still no "reset to default" button so I just don't know what keys I will need.
Also, making buttons look like actual buttons will be appreciated :)

Same problem here. I went to Options/Input Settings and pressed "default keys", then clicked ok. But still i can't control Geralt, i can just turn around with my mouse but not moving with keys.

Ubuntu 12.04
Nvidia GTX 750

Yes it does. You probably modified the wrong User.ini file. You must look for the one in ./local/share/cdprojectred/witcher2/GameDocuments/Witcher 2/config

I have the same here with keyboard and wired 360 controller.
Bindings are empty, there is a reset to default button (in the setup launcher) for all bindings but it doesn't do anything much once you're ingame. Only the sticks seem to work.....?

Overall performance is abmysal compared to windows.

I appreciate the devs want to jump on the Linux bandwagon but this is a textbook quick and sloppy "port" by definition.

Add these launch options to the game in Steam and see if it helps:
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 %command%

They made the absolute amateur mistake of not sanitizing culture info which means there will be problems for everyone that has a locale that uses comma for decimal separation.
