Performance
I just purchased this game, because I thought it would be fun.
The game runs below 20fps all the time, with the settings on very low preset. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Things could be easier if you wouldn't force us to read the coffee grounds. Can you imagine that your specs are the reason of the failure? In this form your post is only interesting for fortune tellers.

You want my specs? Here they are:
i5 4210u.
Geforce 820m (2gb).
8gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram.
Windows 10.
At least 300 gigabyte of free HDD storage.

It's your video card. You might get by turning the resolution down to 800x600, but I wouldn't bet on it. The 820m is pretty weak.

I noticed already a few months back. I'll try the lowest hd setting, but I'm not going to refund the game. It's too good.

Yep sorry the 820m is well below the minimum. Its just not fast enough for this game. Witcher 2 need a very good gpu, while yours is much newer than the one they recommend it is a slower model. Not much you can do other than set everything on minimum.

A few people in similar threads have recommended a tweaker program that may allow you to lower the details a little more, but I have not used this myself, so I am holding no responsibility for it.

I will take a look at it when my Chrome starts working again. One weird thing I noticed is that my gpu handles Planetside 2, Skyrim and Warframe fine, even though my comp doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

They use different game engines and have different requirements.
Others are right, this is a pretty demanding game. I think it was perhaps just not very well optimised, because even on a system well above spec it doesn't get the performance it should with certain graphics options enabled.
