how different are the missions in roche vs iorveth paths?
I'm currently playing Roche path. After I finish it, I might consider playing Iorveth's if the quests/missions are different before I start TW3. I don't feel like repeating everything if they're the same.

For the second chapter, there is quite a difference. Iorveth's path takes place on the dwarven side of the map, in and around the city of Vergen. If you follow Roche's path you cannot actually enter Vergen. Iorveth's path also features different side quests that specifically deal with issues within Vergen, such as how to fight off Henselt's army.

Which path you follow doesn't make a significant difference in Chapter 3. Most of the Chapter 3 quests are the same no matter who you chose. My advice is to just replay the second chapter. Iorveth's path offers a completely different overall experience, plus it lets you interact with the dwarves who are awesome in the entire Witcher series.

Thanks for that in-depth answer. I love the dwarves. I will play Iorveth's path next. :)

You will also find out information (about Saskia) that you can't find out if you follow Roche.

Incredibly different, as expected to choosing an opposing faction; if you don't play through both plot line branches, it's like missing out on a third of the game and the story of the characters, their motivations and schemes.

A game like this; it's advisable to play all paths available at least once. Speedtree is your friend.
