Worst Nightmare Rank 7 (possible workaround no predator room required)

I've done it twice! After you take out the armed guards at Sionis Mill, NO TAKEDOWNS, go 1 building north of Sionis Mill (1 building West of GCR Tower) there are 4 NPCs hanging out on the roof of a building take them out, again NO TAKEDOWNS! I was able to get Rank 7 twice doing that. Here's a screen shot if it helps with the location.

Thanks a lot for this! That helped me a lot!! I couldn't complete the Rank 7 challenge on the GCPD rooftop and I was playing NG+ just before Steel Mill and I saw your post, great find!!

I believe this achievement is glitched unless performed in a predator room, so I've been performing Rank 07 free-roam at the Sionis Steel Mill Courtyard, then immediately concluding the Coventry Fire Case File at the Final Offer to seal the achievement.

It is glitched. I got nothing for that rank until I started a new game+ and completed a level normally. Then suddenly I completed the challenge.

Yes the task is glitched you can make rank 7 and 8 in the birdge when you dezarm the bombs.If your on your first run of the game like I am.

same here, knocked these thugs down without takedows in fron of steel mill then went to final offer where i had case file open - suspect ninja after defeating thouse guys in free flow combat got this rank 7 WN thing, damn how bugged this whole WN criteria is, currently NG+ and got only 5 of them in normal story mode

The building didn't work for me in NG+. BTW, there were only 2 armed guys there for me, not 4.

Colder, too late in NG+ playthrough. Best time for Sionis Steel Mill Courtyard in NG+ was before Jezebel Plaza, or between Jezebel Plaza and Final Offer incursion. To make this work in free-roam, there should be at least one open mission objective.

This worked perfectly for me though there were 5 goons on the rooftop. Had just acquired the mission to go to Sionis Steel Mill. Initially attempted this rank at the GCPD rooftop but after 3 successful attempts that did not award the rank I found this post and it worked the first time. The screenshot was a nice way to confirm the spot.

I took one isolated goon down with a beatdown, climbed the roof of the small shack next to the goon. The others came to investigate, I dropped a smoke pellet and beat down the rest.

Why would it not? WB stopped patching/fixing/changing this game about a decade ago. The last change was shutdown of the servers for online multiplayer.
