Hey guys,

Thank you for playing Beat Slayer. We appreciate every message from you here or on Discord and try to consider your wishes and suggestions. But first and foremost we want to fix the bugs that happened to you :D That's why patch 1.2 is all about bugfixing and polishing.

Bugfixes

Fixed a bug where Mia did not get an upgrade after a canceled utility upgrade.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash after defeating the second boss.
Fixed missing ground in some levels.
Fixed a bug that did not increase the probability of upgrade families after Donna upgrade.
Fixed Narrative bugs
Fixed a bug where some Steam achievements were not unlocked.
Fixed a bug where the shield bot was not distributing shields.
Quality settings on the Steam Deck are now available.

Balancing

Robot spawn rate has been revised
Total life of the second boss has been slightly reduced

Miscellaneous

Various small audio, dialogue and visual improvements

Demo is unplayable

I tried the current demo today and- If I turn VSYNC off, the game freezes when trying to load the first level. If I turn VSYNC on, the first level loads, but frame rate looks like it's at 15 FPS or something. (My monitor's refresh rate is 120.)...

got to hit it 10 times in Tanzrausch which google translates to dance noise. tried everything i can think of couldnt work it out.

Save corrupted

I was doing my runs and the game crashed, opened the game again, went back into my save, beat a level then when I was leaving the next level it crashed again, then when I opened the game again I tried to open my save again but it says that I have never played it, have 0 experience, and that the location is erroneous save. I'm not sure why it's done this. but this sucks. I was at my like idk 7th or 8th run. 4hrs in, gotten to the 'snake' numerous times, had level 19 health, 1 revive, the other couple of it...

Too hard according to the demo

Rhytm beat um up when i have 2 buttons and die on 2 location, even after upgrades and combos, but art is cool

DEMO is unplayable II

Hi, I've just downloaded the Demo but it doesn't start or it freezes after the intro. In particular, if I select the Demo or Vulcan option, the game try to start but then crash, that is, I see just a blank window to appear before crashing. If I select DirectX 11 or 12, the game starts, I can navigate options, I can start a new game, seeing the intro but then, after loading something (I suppose), it freezes. I've tried to follow the thread of the 13th of Feb, but it doesn't help. Last, the technical requ...

After almost a week since the release of Beat Slayer, we would like to thank all the players who have already taken a look at it. Your interest and feedback mean a lot to us. We appreciate every single review and are open to your suggestions and opinions. Today we have two exciting news for you:

First of all, the demo of Beat Slayer is available online again. Unfortunately, there were a few technical problems with the release. But now it's live again and if you're curious and want to test your sense of rhythm, you can now test the entire first act of the demo.

Secondly, there is another small release today. The official Beat Slayer soundtrack is now available on all major streaming platforms.

We are very happy that the music has made its way onto Spotify and Co.
