I am reading the books (A Song of Fire and Ice) and just finished the first one (A Game of Thrones). Are there going to be spoilers concerning the story or is it a game that simply is set in this world?

if you get it working you still dont have to worry, the game happens in the same time period as 'game of thrones' and gos no later than that book

And not even that much. The biggest spoilers in the whole game are in the last chapters and that only by word-of-mouth, you don't get to actually live them

if there is your problem with the crash at the beginning of the game....dowloand MSI Afterburner and lower manually the "Core Clock MHz" i have 780 and put it down to 750, then the game works. And let the "Application decide" (NVIDIA Cards!) about the graphics (due to the fact that some players have no letters, options etc. in the main-menue)
