Too hard for me

This game for me (I'm not bery good at games) is incredibly hard, is there any way to make it a bit easier for me ie an ini file cheat or somthing?, I like the game and like the story but the fighting gets tough after a while and does my head in!
Any help here would be great thanks.

If you hit the space bar it slows the game down and you can use your abilities. Also be sure to purchase or grab flasks and buy dreamwine so you can heal yourself. When you are playing the Red Priest get the ability "Healing Fire." I also think at the beginning of the game you can set the difficulty.

Mors gameplay is much easier if you choose to wield Greatswords. Just make sure you put enough points in health and damage affective stats.
Sarwyck is a pain in the ass, no doubt. Better choose the Mercenary class, it's easier to play. Make sure you put more stats to damage affective and intelligence stats.
