WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP

When your demo blocks singleplayer and your button for multi-player doesn't do anything how do you expect people to buy this game?

Not to mention those of us who believed the Devs when they said they learnt their lesson from APOC, and bought the Premium edition, only to have zero support and zero DLC released.

For what its worth, the full game isn't that good. The upgrade mechanics didn't really work in terms of making up for the very limited selection of units.

it's sad, being on sale for such a good deal I was very interested. I hope people read the forums before buying..

Do they intend to fix that? any news from devs? been wondering about this game myself, but after seeing this i'm not so sure about it anymore.

there was another thread here where a guy said "MP button broken" and a dev said it was fixed, but then another person claimed it was broken and nothing was said.

I should note, I have no clue if the MP works in the full game, so if anybody is planning on buying this and reads this thread, leave a comment please!

mp works in the full game; no-one is online though..

MP seems to have 1 server "New York" operating with a ping averaging 150 from my little corner of UK.

Game quickly becomes boring though, lacks that edge that brings you and your friends back for "just 1 more game."

As for single player : heavily scripted, persistent but unimaganative AI or completely passive. Short campaign with annoying "loss of control" cutscenes at the most inappropriate moments.
Full ai support for skirmish mode but with limited maps and only 2 sides with low number of overall units this quickly gets stale.

There's better alternatives on the market...

Damn...someone beat me to bagging the demo lol!
As people have already stated, the single player is disabled and the multiplayer doesn't "work" I got a message that stated that "it is quiet around this time of day and that I should try again later" So...let me guess. The servers are in the US/Europe? Which means when everyone is supposedly playing, I'll be fast asleep. Great.

So, devs...how on earth are we supposed to work out if your game is any good or complete ♥♥♥♥♥ if we don't even get 1 sample level? Call me paranoid but if the devs make it this hard to play even a sample game, they do have something to hide.


SIDENOTE:
If anyone is on the tryst demo within the half hour or so, boot it up and lets try it out. I'll be in the multiplayer lobby.

Thank you for this thread! I was moments away from pressing buy. Had the developers taken the time to comment on any of the current threads I might have still considered buying but definitely not now.

LOL...sounds like thsi game is still in Alpha stage from the threads I see. Like the features are so few that it is basically a demo for sale.

Games like this should be kicked off Steam imo. If the developers don't even care about them, then neither should we, or Steam.

i tried the demo.. i was unable to play it at all.. singleplayer greyed out.. mulitplayer will only let you play vs people with full version... each map i try in multiplayer throws error saying you must have someone with full version on the map to continue. this is crap idea.
