how to use potions/food/items

how do I use potions/food/other items?

Open the inventory and look at the objects; the usable ones have a little sun icon in the lower left part. Click the sun and you will use that particular item.

Also, you can drag the usable objects in the quick-use tab to the left, under the character equipment graphic. The objects in the quick-use tab will appear in the normal game screen, and you'll be able to use them by simply clicking over them.
