How does the game balance teams in multiplayer?

I mean, should I adjust all my players to 100 for all stats or does the game use the original settings for multiplayer games?

it uses original stats as it would be unfair to other teams

Rugby's about matchup's between players, so for example Australia may struggle to beat England, but be competitive against New Zealand whereas New Zealand will thrash England everytime.

SO I agree that balancing stats would create an unfaireness in this regard.
