First time setup

Does this game perform a first time setup everytime?

Found the answer buried in the forums. If you go to your steamapps folder and into endless space folder, delete a file ending in .vdf. That will stop first time setup from showing up everytime.

It works! Thank you! And now I feel like a fool because I played all this time not bothering to search for this simple fix.
