cannot install/download FM2013

Hi guys hope you can help, I've started to rip my hair out. Its now day 5 of trying to install and download FM2013. I'll tell the story as best as I can. So I downloaded and happily played the beta. Then as November 2nd came around it asked me to update, so I tried. Nothing happened, it was stuck on "creating cache files". So after a few checks online I decided to delete the game and download/install again. So I did that, but again it was hung on "creating cache files" but this time it gave up trying after around half an hour of waiting saying it could not connect to content servers. So after again checking online and reading forum posts, I firstly deleted clientregistry.blob (didn't work), changed server locations (i've tried ALL of them, still didn't work), uninstall and reinstall steam (didn't work), went into regedit and deleted steam.exe (didn't work), deleted everything apart for steam.exe (didn't work).
I raised a support request on the 5th but I have had no response as of 8am 8th of November.

Additional information: this is a download version not a CD (i wish it was CD), through Steams own checkout. Running windows 7, more than enough specs to run this.

Any suggestions will be tried (probably repeatedly)

Where did you buy your digital version from?

Do you have any kind of anti-virus program installed? If so, what type?

From Steam, no antivirus

I am in the same situation. I could play the beta but come Nov. 2nd i removed beta and downloaded from Steam the new version and it will not run. It gets to a box stating "Completing installation 1%" then nothing but error messages from steam. I have emailed them 3 times now and no response apart frrom the standardised "we will contact you by email" - Now getting very annoyed. I have tried all the sugggetions from the help site about turning off anti virus etc and no thing works must have uninstalled and re-instaled alt leat 6 times now.............

Hi Eric, For some reason it finally worked for me. Try disabling any proxies setup on IE and remove any start up programs that aren't nessasary. i know it sounds weird but thats what I think worked for me.
