Playing ONLINE

Im playing Online with my friend, and from time to time. his game crashes, and when he tries to reconnect, he only sees the menu without any buttons, only the layout... and then he has an error: Application Error, and the crash dump messages.
The only way to make him play again is controlling his team, and remove that coach, and he has to create a new one... But that is BS because we all know that players lose morale with coach changes..
It's starting to get anoying, we never had this problems before!
PS: he already tried all the things, for crach dumps, etc..
