Very bad mouse/ship skipping.
Hello I saw somthing in the old forums about a "mouse DPI" issue and someone marked it as resolved.....I can assure you it is NOT resolved I use a high grade professional gaming mouse "Steelseries Sensei" at 5700 dpi. and my ship constantly skips everywhere through every song very annoying makes forte and forteismmo nearly impossible. Just wondering if i can get a heads up when this will be fixed?

Also wanted to note that this does NOT happen in windows or any other game, and that turning down my DPI ALL the way does not matter. still happens even at 100 dpi....turned down the polling rate also ...nothing...out of ideas.

Not sure why no one else is making posts about this.

I had similar but less pronounced issues with mine and realized my mousepad had been swapped out with my son's filthy sheened over mess from the dollar store. Swapped it out with a quality pad made for high DPI mice and suddenly no more issues. I don't know why it only appeared on this game, unless he had just swapped it that day.

yeah I use one to clean it regularlly, its a razor vespula pad, I dont know maybe my mouses features are just to smooth and accurate for the game haha but srsly wish i could get this issue fixed

I'm experiencing this problem too, I move the mouse around and suddenly BAM on the other side of the screen and die. I don't have this issue with any other game.

This issue has been around since August. First it could be fixed by enabling vsync. At some point later they kinda broke it so that mouse API doesn't work correctly. Currently there's only one way to fix this and that is to use normal mouse (those with the ball). Also this issue prevents me from playing this game.

Edit: Of course this can be played with optical/laser mouse currently but you have to lower tracking DPI (mouse driver settings, not Windows or not in game) to around 300-400. Issue doesn't disappear but it's minimal. This causes some tracking issues though.

Lol ball mice? dident know those still existed, still think you're better off with laser skipping than to use one of those thou cause there so bad lol, ajusting DPI and Polling dident work for me but vsync made it minimal and playable. but still annoying.

TBH kind of dissapointed about this devloper, they have NO support on there site no fourm no FAQ nothing, and by the looks of it rarely update there game, Also they don't ever seem to even vist these fourms either. at first I thought it was cause it might be just one person but its actually a team of 12 people. kina....lame ...i think

I'm getting this issue... that and getting hit by walls that are nowhere near me...
Anonymoose 6 ENE 2013 a las 11:33
Alongside the quite random skipping I've noticed that sometimes my mouse location seems to be getting tracked across onto my second screen.

Something must be seriously wrong with the way the capture the mouse.

Hey everyone,

Thank you for getting Symphony; we put a lot of work into it and want as many people as possible to enjoy it. We're sorry for the mouse dpi issues. As was mentioned we tried fixing it earlier and it seemed to make things worse in some cases.

We were really active in the forums and trying to address issues after launch, up until we got overwhelmed with work keeping this indie shop going. We're planning on releasing fixes in the coming weeks for the most urgent issues we can fix, as well as post an FAQ soon. Watch for a more official announcement. And for the record, there's Matt and myself here; we could definitely use 10 more people. ;)

Cheers,

Francois
