"Song could not be read" error message

This message appear when I choose a song that has Unicode characters (like Chinese characters) and the song is in iTunes format (.m4a).
Can you help me fix this?

Hello Frances,
If I remember correctly, I believe we couldn't reproduce the issue, at least on our local machines. Apologies about the radio silence, this has been a pretty intense couple of months here. We are actually working on a minor update, I will put this on top of the list of things to check out and get back to you soon.
