the binary for the movie is probably in some windows/directX dependent thing.

So Linux can watch youtube, and can run pretty much all the multimedia formats... but not this one? Heck, its on youtube (for $3.99)

Heck, it's just an MP4 file with a player included... There's no reason this can't work in linux. Had to download it through wine to get it to work -_-

The problem is that said player runs on Adobe AIR, if I remember correctly. And Adobe stopped updating the Linux version of it some time ago, so we will never get any applications made for newer versions of AIR.
