"Not a Game" tag would be appropriate here

It seems like they've banned the "Not a Game" tag, since people were abusing it, but it seems like it should be available to things like this, soundtracks, You Need a Budget, etc.

But I guess the community can't be trusted with such a disruptive and powerful tag

what's wrong with 'movie' & 'film'? i wouldnt want a soundtrack to be 'not a game', it should be a 'soundtrack' of course

now i see one issue with the steam store page, the template they use says 'about the game' so valve needs to change that on their end

Most of those programs have a tag called 'software,' to denote that it "isn't a game." Do you need a movie to specifically tell you it is not a game?

They were right to ban something as juvenile as that. Nowadays, you have at least a couple people crying on every game saying "This isn't a real game, I want my money back."

Its either you give people the full power to tag things or you dont. Doing a half assed job just means that the system is unreliable and terrible for its purpose.

It's unreliable and terrible when you see Dark Souls tagged as 'casual,' or see 'choke on it' as a tag for FEZ. Completely incorrect tags, or tags that have absolutely no relevance to the game itself, are unreliable.

Why is it bad that these things are filtered? I don't see why a system would ever have to be an 'all or nothing' situation.

People abusing the system with immature tags undermines it. The tagging system isn't there to troll devs or joke about a game. People on the internet can't be trusted to moderate themselves 99% of the time.

Also, there is a mini game in this package!
