MLB 2k12 Freezing

I don't know what's the problem but I wanted to start fresh and cleared the save files and then re-installed the game and every time it freezes in the start-up logo screen can anyone HELP!

Well, the game stopped working. I set my date back, still didn't load. Went back a month, still didn't load. Went back to last year and it loaded, but all my saved games / careers is gone. What a PoS. I moved my clock back to present time, and the game won't load.

I've just bought this game and have the same problem. I changed the date back to last year, removed my profile from the PC, etc. and it still freezes after it creates/loads the player profile. If there was a class action to sue this company then I'd be in it.

This issue has apparently been going on for a while... 2Kgames are sheisters - nothing more, nothing less!!!

i have the same freezing problem which started march 1 but the suggestion posted here isnt helping
