I read in USA Today that EA is doing massive layoffs. Good lesson to learn: Research the company the game your downloading comes from before forking over dollars. Also, BBB research is free.

it is unethical for a company to sell a game that doesn't work, period. THEY say to us, quite specifically, tough ♥♥♥♥.
Valve sells it through Steam, so shame on both of them. SHAME!

you have to set the date on your system to 9/30/2012
download beyondo and this will switch it back for you after your done or after the time you set.

OK here's the WORSE thing - the game totally sucks. It is designed for consoles and the keyboard control is horrendous; almost impossible to bind an intelligent set that works for all positions - OH - you control EVERYTHING or nothing. THe control everything game is SLOWER than real baseball! There is zero instruction explanation for things but there are hints based on controller buttons (I think,- I don't have a controller)
For instance: they hit a slow blooper over 2nd base. No one moves! Finally a player moves towards it and a circle appears and then a small circle inside it - by now the runner is passing 2nd - then you grab the ball and throw it home and the catcher, having already watched the runner pass home, catches the throw easily. Every hit is an inside the park home run. I made 4 pages of control notes: hit, run, field, pitch. By the time I found the right button, HOME RUN ANOTHER UNUSUAL INSIDE THE PARK HR! And Another and another.
So yeah, the date-beyondo thing **worked**, except remember to TURNOFF EMAIL, or your email servers won't recognize you anymore because your security certificate will be out of date!
YES folks, $20 for a game that will only run if you lie to it by falisifying your system date and thereby run the risk of losing certificate authentications on any secure communication, like say, email!
I just wanted a little management game, not a sub-career in game-damage control! ABSURD.

darkstar - i DID get it to work with the beyondo program, so it CAN work, but unless you're very familiar with the series, don't bother. 100 years from now $20 will be the price of a piece of rice...

well i set my clock back to 4/12 and it works...I got updated rosters from the Shared roster feature and I got my PS3 Controller working on it i enjoy it...it the only pc baseball out right now
