After a bit of struggle, we are finally ready to deliver our next patch, right in time for the Remote Play Fest! 🎉😄

The primary goal of this patch was to revamp the progression system. Until now, players had to unlock the bronze piggy to reach the next level. We thought it wasn't challenging enough, so instead, each level now requires a specific number of piggies to be unlocked. We believe this change will slightly slow down progression and make the game a more rewarding experience.

The second goal of the patch was to make Mechanic Heroes more appealing to streamers. To achieve this, we added a new option in the "interface" section called "Streamer camera" that frees up some space on the HUD to allow streamers to place their camera feed. Also, for players using a controller, we no longer capture the mouse cursor (which is handy for multi-monitor setups).

Since the last update, Valve has tested Mechanic Heroes' compatibility with the SteamDeck. After some tweaking, we are happy to announce that Mechanic Heroes is SteamDeck compatible (with a "verified" status).

We are delighted to announce that we have opted in for the Remote Play Together Fest and that we will offer a 20% discount on Mechanic Heroes during the event.

BUGFIX - Race 04 : vehicle wheels could clip through the floor.
BUGFIX - Attempted to fix a bug where incorrect scores would be displayed for clients on the end of level score modal.
BUGFIX - Jack Blower vehicle : fixed incorrect material setup for the turbo charger.
BUGFIX - Attempted to fix a bug where a player could get stuck after throwing an object.
BUGFIX - Throwing with the mouse would trigger an unwanted character rotation.
BUGFIX - Improper release location for the bolt cutter making it more likely to clip through collisions.
BUGFIX - Fixed a bug where the level selection menu would not sync properly for the client players.
BUGFIX - Wrong keys/buttons shown in the pause menu.
BUGFIX - Save slot menu would not display the correct progress percentages.

TWEAK - Scores were balanced to make the higher tier piggies a bit more accessible.
TWEAK - Race 01 : rolling gates no longer moving before and after a race.
TWEAK - Race : one additional second of time after the last player passes the finish line.
TWEAK - Level 5.5 : spawn magnets only when timer is running.
TWEAK - Level 5.5 : laser beams added to improve readability.
TWEAK - Reduced interaction priority on tools making other objects easier to pick up.
TWEAK - Interaction tweaks to gain in accuracy when picking up objects.
TWEAK - Various tweaks for the SteamDeck native resolution.

LOCALIZATION - A few translations were fixed (don't hesitate to help us out on our discord! 😊)
