Have you tried running Steam as admin?
Do you have any other software running at the same time? (Some people have mentioned possible hardware acceleration incompatibilities with other software and even some webpage apps/scripts)
Have you tried going to the game's folder, to the prereqs subfolder, and manually installing the x64 .Net version as well as the DirectX version it comes with?
Yes, NO !, No, Yes. So, for your second question, I had not thought about that, although I am pretty sure it is related to the game itself more than Steam, but why not, I'll give it a shot, thanks.
Game just crashes after loading for one second. Wish Sega would say something regarding the issue.
