Having trouble spraying graffiti, can't get past beginning level.

The graffiti spray that has that white arrow that empties into green? For the life of me, I cannot figure that thing out, tried pressing bloody everything, can't get it to spray. My character just stands there and dances until I stop it. Any ideas?

Not sure if you're using a gamepad or not, but I have the same issue.
My guess is this game simply won't work with a keyboard at all.

You need to use WASD to follow the quick-time event. If it's pointing straight down, press S; if it's doing a half-circle from the bottom to the top, press S-D-W; so on, so forth.
If the problem is that you can't get him to start the QTE, though, remember to get cans.

Uhhh been such al ong time since I played, dunno. Follow the prompts with the key, I guess? Like if it's going clockwise, so wdsaw or something.

no no no I mean when I jit the spray key it will not respond at all.
