how do you enter buildings?

I'm in the first mission not tutorial mission.

I have a problem and I think it is a game bug! I have not found out how to enter buildings to kill the bad guys. Some times I enter by mistake but I don't know how I did it.

Right click the doors - if they're locked you'll need a merc who can use lockpicks/crowbar or place explosives on the walls.

I'd recommend the Combat Evolved mod, loads of great stuff plus the ability to open doors stealthily instead of automatically kicking them open.
