Mobility Radeon 9000. Latest driver obtainable dates Sep-03. Latest DX9.

Swiftshader does work but it's slow. Does this 8-bitish game really require Pixel Shader 2.0?

Sorry for necropost: have you ended up finding a solution? I'd like to run the game on an old ThinkPad but it has the same issue. Same graphics chip too.
