i felt that at first too. they get easier with practice and skills also help (more damage in concentration mode, throw dynamite back, etc...)

Played through it on hard mode, was difficult but not impossible. Except for that last ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fight with all those ghosts and no cover, THAT was brutal

Dude their not so difficult i have completed the game in all difficulties. Only in true west difficulty
The last guy (sundance kid) is difficult but still not insane

True west difficulty is ridiculous. The part where you get ambushed at those wagons, and have to run into those caves is stupid on hard difficulty. On true west it's insane. You get hit constantly, with no cover and a long way to run until you're safe. No ammo to fight back, and just luck on your side.

The only thing worse than that is the stupid showdowns. They are horrible.
I liked hard difficulty, it was just right, and I didn't have a problem with any of the bosses. But I cheated almost every showdown.
Well not cheated exactly, just drew first. I think the only one I didn't draw first was the first one

Yeah I have won on all the modes and I can say the last fight is brutal,even on easy mode for me (aka normal),though you can find cover,don't let that straying from story message bother you TOO much,on the outer part you can find some spots to hunker down
