Ahh, yes. I remember all of us working those all out. It was all good fun. The discussion all took place here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/204240/discussions/0/864960354218698035
I found this guide to be helpful. I hate any game that has achievements that require you to use a guide.

You don't need a guide. The game gives you all the hints and clues you need, and if a group of people can figure everything out logically, then any one person has the ability to. The only game I've seen that actually requires outside sources is Fez, and that was amazing for a whole different reason.
If I (and many others) had no idea what a wisp was or that there were even clues that hinted at what they were, then you need a guide. Sorry, I didn't feel like banging my head for hours trying to find them for a game I didn't particularly enjoy. I'm not even sure what the hints looked like.
They are obscure, yes. But does your dedication to the game really determine if it's possible without a guide or not? They're more there for those of us that thoroughly enjoyed the game, and want to uncover all it has to offer. With them being as obscure as they are, it allowed us to dig really, really, deep, and in a story that we found enjoyable, it was very rewarding. But you don't have to collect the wisps if you don't want to.

And if you didn't even really like the game, why are you going for them, aside from 100% completion? All that means is that you're a completionist, addicted to beating every little thing in a game, enjoyment factor aside. Completion is always gonna be a chore in a game you don't enjoy completing.

Edit: And to answer that question, the hints are in the loading screens of the mirror levels, if I recall correctly. Look closely at the ink lines. They are subtle and cryptic at first, but when you realize what they're indicating, it all clicks, and you get a bit of that "a ha" feeling.

I dont see how a smuch vaguely resembling a cirkel indicates that you need to hold rewind for a minute long.

Thanks very much, GuiltyBystander. got a few, but they are way harder than necessary. Like the minute long rewind, i always fall next to it. I'll leave it for now, but ill bookmark your guide and maybe one day when i feel bored i'll try again ;)
