is it worth it to buy lego harry potter yrs 5-7 any glitches like the first?

i was gifted years 1-4 for christmas and i loved it but in year 3 i had a glitch that youtube helped me fix, and in year 4 the game stopped working all together once i got to the dragon level. i asked everyone i know how to fix it or if it can be fixed and they mostly said that basically, since it was an older game that i was trying to play on newer system that it just wasnt compatible and wouldnt work, and youtube had no answers for me. i really really enjoyed the game though, and was wondering if anyone has had any similar problems with this game on a newer system? am i going to be able to finish this game, or make it almost to the end and have it stop working and then be sad that i spent $20 to not finish a game?

I didn't have any problems running it on my desktop PC tunning Windows 8.1. Why don't you wait unitl this game goes on sale. It happened just recently and it might happened again. Maybe in July?

I got the game on sale, there are a few glitches that may cause the game to crash on occasion but due to how regularly the game autosaves that really isn't a problem. Though I will say this probably isn't the most optimised port of any game.
