GTA5 using Max Payne 3's engine?
I have to say that GTA4 is crappy console port. I really hope rockstar care more about pc gamers.

GTA IV and Max Payne use the same engine (RAGE), the reason Max Payne runs better is because they have a had a lot of time since GTA IV to optimise the engine for PC.

Well, there's no large free-roaming city areas in Max Payne either.

Yes. RAGE.

Yes it will be optimized. RAGE engine is almost at the max performance. GTA IV RAGE was very buggy and slowly

Well after what I've seen with Max Payne 3, and with the published GTA V screenshots, I REALL REALLY hope that GTA V has similar graphics. (and I also want it to come out at the same time as XboX and PS3, please R* make it happen)

Agreed, I'd lost interest in the game, playing other new games, before it had come out for PC.

And you, probably, would be interested in game again, once it will be released. ;) That's Rockstar, they know, they make nice games and if you like their products, you will wait.

I would love for the PC version to come out with the rest, but, pessimistically, I doubt that will be the case. In seems to be a trend for the PC version to come out weeks/months after the initial launch. That's why I really, really like how United Front Games and Square-Enix handled Sleeping Dogs' PC release. On time, well optimized, and with bonus features that took advantage of the money that we've poured into our rigs. It'd be nice though.
