Is there a fix for PC to TV?

Anytime I boot this I only get a black screen that I can't get out of, been like this since I switched from my old monitor to a TV

Make a textfile with notepad, save it as commandline.txt file in the root of the gamefolder. Put the following lines in the file:
-width 1280 and -height 720 if using a HDTV with HDMI cable that doesn't do 1080p.
-width 1920 - height 1080 if you have a HDTV that does 1080p with HDMI cable.
-width 1366 or 1360 and -width 768 if using a VGA cable. Save it and launch the game.
