Max Payne 3 acf file

Hi guys, Can I get the acf file of Max payne 3. I got the game files from a friend and it's not the steam backup. I tried to copy those files into steam apps folder but it won't detect any files there. Maybe acf file will help with this issue.

Hello, please someone upload the file. It will be really helpfull.

.acf files are unique, because they contain infos like, steam id, if you have dlcs, etc.
because you got the gamefiles from a not steam copy, you need to create a .txt file called: steam_appid.txt.
then open it and write this in it: 204100
and then open steam and click on validate game cache.
PS: you need the Max Payne 3 folder in the common folder

It's not working. Steam started downloading files from the beginning.
