Last chapter, fight against guy behind riot shield
This fight is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. Anytime you go into last man standing you end up on your back, which requires going back into cover. You are pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥ any time the riot guy shoots a grenade at you. Constant reinforcements of guys with armor, and helmets.

Reached my limit of frustration with this one.

Just shoot the grenade once it's lobbed and it'll blow up mid-air, thus preventing you from getting hurt.

♥♥♥♥, that's genius. I didn't even realize I could do that.

This is a pretty basic move. I guess the game hints at it numerous times before the final bossfights (during the boat chase/shootout and the climax of the bus shootout). Heck, you can even simply recall those RPG deflection sequences (the one where you shoot rockets shot by enemies) and learn what happens to explosives when they're shot mid-air.

Glad I could help!

Truthfully I hadn't played this game in probably a year to a half a year, or maybe more. I didn't even remember those parts of the game, as when I started this back up again, I was at like chapter 10 or 11.

Thanks for the help all the same.

Also the frequency of nades is not random.

ya the boss battle ruined the whole game for me

The boss battle is more of an endurance fight.

It's wave-based. Focus on eliminating each wave as optimal as possible. Between each wave, the boss launches a grenade, shoot it out.

As you eliminate each wave, move further to the left side of cover and after killing off the last few goons, you'll win that fight.
