Are there abandonware sites to download or key cd sites to support the dev??

When going through the game, I managed to get in the first instance of the level up menu which while I was in it the game crashed. When I go back into the game, the start up videos seem to play fine (though I did skip them) then when I go to cutscenes played it shows TV color static and skips the cutscene but for the level up demonstrations it would still show static which it seems if you stay too long in the level up menu it will crash the game (which by what I found on ProtonDB it seems it is related to ...

Can we just get a team of indie pc codenerds start a kick starter and just remake fable 2 from scratch since lionwho is defunct and we just pay codenerds™2023 to just make it and then we can ignore micropoo or who ever is failing to remaster it?

I dont mean in the same way that aniverssary is "basically" the same. Is it, at least in large part, the same game?? To me fable the lost chapters is the absolute greatest game of all time. But before I buy it, I wanna know its the game I played as a kid. EDIT: I think some of yall misunderstand. Im not asking if this is like the xbox version of fable.
