Please help me, after leaving starting zone and passing bridge my game suddenly crashes, already tried playing with game.ini, reinstalling game, uninstalling DLC's, reinstalling DirectX

something changed in the last month or so? I checked the integrity of the install but it never actually throws up a window. I do get a blue spiny ball briefly but it goes away and then steam says start instead of stop again

Contrabandist in Isterreng does not sell me maps to Freedom Islands. I have completed the pickaxes quest. He even does not have a line of dialoge about it.

The game used to be playable, and I really liked it. So much, that I wanted to start again. But right after a fight with a random troop in Nordlig, the game crashes. (Something about call stack functions.) I've tried everything I can think of, but can't seem to fix the problem. Has anyone else encountered this? Have you found a way to fix it. Note: the game did not have this problem a few months ago. It crashed on occasion, but not this consistently....
