Runes of attack / defense / luck and more runic questions

My first question is how do you obtain these? I noticed some units 'start' with them, is that the only way to obtain them? Trough units?

Secondly, do they 'respawn' after each battle? Or are they a one time use, and then you gotta find more?

Thirdly, how can I tell if I have these runes or not?

And lastly, does the skill 'Runic Power' (Bottom left in the 'Might Skills' tree) refer too skill runes or the runes units can use in battle? (It increases damage per rune, but doesn't specify what kind of rune)

yea units start with them and they respawn after each battle (i think they get some runes after some turns as well). you come to learn which unit has which runes after a bit. just keep playing

If memory serves right, unit that have runes have an ability called runic *something*.

Runic power refers to skill runes.
