CO-OP works!

I got everything to work just fine and I must say, the game is fantastic witha partner. It works totally fine and I'm not a dev. If you look at my account I don't have more than an hour online. It works!

Furthermore, I'd like to explain I was inviting some through the game interface itself and not through online mode.

As for the game itself, it really isn't shovelware, nor garbage. I'll admit it's dated. It's missing some major features of a modern game. But if you like strategy, shooting, exploration weighed the same as said shooting then this is by all means a good game. Just to let you know, it does have sucky talking animations and bad sync, but that doesn't remove every good thing that this game does right.

I just tried Quick Match and Custom Match less than ten minutes ago and it still gave me the same problems. I'll be booting up the game to see if what you're saying is true.

EDIT: Still disconnecting on match search.

It seems to be hit or miss. It worked for me earlier, but now it doesn't.

We are sorry about the Steamworks co-op bug that affected this game over the last few days. We have deployed a fix and co-op is now working. Thanks for reporting the problem to us quickly. To launch a co-op game, first launch a single player game, press escape (or start) to bring up the in game menu, click invite friend, select your friend, click invite to game. Alteratively if you are playing a public single player game friends can join your game via the online game lobby. You cannot begin to play together until you reach the closest checkpoint. Have fun playing with your Steam friends!

Quick Match and Custom Match searching still don't work. I get disconnected from the server whenever I attempt either of them.

It appears the quick match and custom match feature times out when ther are no public games available to join. We have had best results inviting a friend to play with the method above.

for a fix , still seems like hoops have to be jumped through to play co-op. Will keep an eye on this release before taking the plunge, fan of star trek or not, i'm not in the habbit of wasting money if i can help it. Nice work confirming the error whether by choice or not . i'm sure gamers appericate it.
