The writing is cringe but it made me cry.

The art style is amateurish but all the characters stuck in my head.

It's barely anything special as a game, but it might be my favorite game this year just for how utterly earnest it is. 10/10.

An excellent turn based tactical management game. You manage the adventure guild build parties of adventurers of various classes and send them on missions to level them up and grow the guild. The game looks very simple at first glance but there are a lot of in depth combat mechanics, and 3 tiers of classes you can advance your characters through (each tier having multiple classes within them). There is a gear system, traits, titles and other ways to adjust your adventurer's stats or give them different abilities.

There is a story and the trainers and other people who are key figures in the guild all have bits of their own stories you learn about in various story quests, and dialogue is well done overall, I enjoyed the characters. There are also a few named adventurers you will encounter that also have their own unique skill tree, event interactions and stories although those are optional, you can choose to skip them and just go with randomly generated adeventurers and you won't miss out on any story.

Overall, the game is excellent, especially for the price. I completed pretty much all the main content in one playthrough that lasted 47 hours (granted, I didn't build every set of armor or complete every random event you can encounter, but I fought all the major bosses and did all the story quests). Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys this genre of game.

With that out of the way... somehow this game, (which i'm guessing was created by a single dude) mixed Darkest Dungeon & FF Tactics together to make a masterpiece of game play. For those that like this type of game, you don't want to miss out. I almost passed on this one NGL, but i'm glad i didn't.
