Game crashes about 2 seconds into first cinematic.
I've updated my drivers, set the game to open as admin, and anything else that I could try. Anybody else having trouble fixing this?

Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
CPU Speed:
2.36 GHz
System Memory:

Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5

I have the exact same issue. about 3 seconds of the intro and the rig crashes so hard I have to hit the reset button. I use Nvidia as well so it is not your graphics card. I am P!$$ED Royally. this game is so expensive and used up nearly a quarter of my monthly download allowance. Have tried everything I could think of and everything I could find through google and nothing fixes this major F_up!

Valve really needs to set up refunds or exchanges when people spend $79.00USD for an Unusable waste of HDD space.

i suggest getting a better cpu. i doubt thatll fix wolfenstein but..
I got it working by getting a new set of 500 series drivers (340.52). took hours and lots of coffee to get this working. Pheeew!

(Using i5 2500k 4.0Ghz overclock, GTX550ti, 16Gb RAM, Win7 x64)

I ended up buying a new computer. Thank you for the kind responses, though!
I also upgraded the **** out of mine as well and run it at 120fps on max settings without any texture popping. I am glad you also have your problem solved. Best of luck! :D: :ss13ok:

I love having a high-end gaming rig once again :D:
