Really good puzzle-platformer...
...but is not open-world or metroidvania like some of the adverts claim. That's not really a bad thing but puzzle-platformers and open-world platformers aren't in the same genre.

Still highly recommend it. It's a really fun game.

Much more of a puzzle game than a platformer. It's a good puzzler - very enjoyable.
It is open world in sense that you can travel back and forth between levels.
It's metroidvania in similar same sense.
Descriptions aren't 100% accurate, but at least give you a general idea of what you should expect. You didn't think it was a real sandbox, right?

J4960s - another useless comment (what's really your contribution?) and chance to get rid of coupon? Are you 12? Your comments suggest so.

I played the first game so I wasn't disappointed, however, a metroidvania game is one with a seamless world map and this game does not have that at all. It has a map screen in between levels similar to Mario World which is score-attack platformer. It has one element of metroidvania games and that is learning new powers to progress. It fits better in the same genre as Limbo or Braid.

Also I don't know the entire context but why is it necessary for you to go off on someone just for offering a coupon? From my perspective that seemed kind of excessive. (Plus I think you hurt his feelings.)

Kaze
Devs are sometime not too accurate describing their games. They might be correct but just some point. TT2+ is lucky to have a demo and I think everyone interesed in the game should try it. 1 hour of gameplay is enough. I played the demo 2 times. It's very representative and convinced me to purchase the game.
First game and second are similar, but the difference is noticeable. Gameplay is a bit different, graphics and mechanics too, but it's a nice change imo. You can feel the second game was developed with WiiU in mind.

your the poor polish idiot again...
Offending me in a very childish way is veeery mature. (1st report) Congrats man. I got a sexy screenshot of your "maturity".
You're such a hypocrite man, it's sad.

you are following me around the forums giving me verbal abuse i have reported you
Prove it - send me direct links. I do want to see verbal abuse I have comitted. If I find I did that I will apologize. I have browsed through 10 pages (pages, not topics) on this forum and I found ZERO posts by swenor - where are those? I expect you to apologize for insults and threats. Responding to 2 or 3 isn't following (Dude, your posts are present in the half of all topics from the very first two pages of this forum - it's almost impossible NOT TO be in the same topic!). You are failing to understand one thing - this is a forum, I am allowed to read and comment things just like you are. I'm considering buying this game, so it's nothing unusual to view and comment on many topics, isn't it?
Are you more priviledged than me? I doubt so.

Your report was successful, but I don't think it was justified (I was really surprised to see a ban for... yeah, for what). I keep seeing ppl offending each other in a really nasty way (just like yours in this topic). If you are SO sensitive to constructive criticism, maybe it's time to return to fluffly pink safehouse?
To the mod who banned swenor account on this forum - are you going to ban j4960s user? I think he deserves ban MUCH MORE than I did.

Threats? Not good man. (2nd report). Judging from tone you really aren't little kid, you are either very little kid, or adult who behaves like one. You have just proven it.

I don't think I have failed to stick to rules, but apparently someone had a different opinion. I can't do anything about that - human error.

You j4960s failed to stick to rules 2 - insults + threats.

I am trying to spread positivity, but you are not helping. I can handle criticism, can you? I seriously doubt.

You know, I also really don't like that you spam several posts instead of editing them. I also don't like the style of your posts - no editing, no commas, periods, capital letters, it reads like a total mess - you seem to be the only to do that. Everyone else posts stuff in clean and organized way.

Read his inputs over different topics. He go upset for some thing I posted when I was using my alternate account. I can't imagine why was that so serious to get me banned as I try to stick to rules (guide above). If he can't handle criticism (not offending or insulting or threats like he did), then he has to start living in a cottage in the middle of HUGE forest. People on forums are so sensitive to slightest criticsm that it goes beyond understanding.

You are defending him and you didn't notice he directly insults me and threatens me? Not good man.

I think the PC and wii U versions were developed together though; I'm not entirely sure but the special version launched on Steam a little later and was transferred to the wii U after that.

I personally love the advances from the first game - not that I dislike the first game, it's just that I can really feel the sequel's progression without totally invalidating the first game. I'd put more hours into it personally if I didn't have a scary huge backlog. Having tried the demo myself, I do agree that it's accurate, my only intent was to illustrate the two genres discussed are very different in the hopes that confused parties might find some insight.

Also I wasn't necessarily defending him, I was legitimately asking because it looked like you made the first move. If that's not the case then I am just seeing a small part of a larger disagreement. Plus, while I agree sometimes debate and criticism are inherent parts of human interaction, my natural inclination is to take the feelings of others into consideration as much as the situation as a whole. Not saying you specifically are like this, but I have come across people who use that stuff as an excuse to be abrasive and insensitive. Having an excessive dynamic of people with emotional needs and people who only desire to be destructive is what really makes forums so violent sometimes, I just wish everyone would meet each other halfway, or try to.

Anyway it's not really my business, I responded more on impulse and didn't mean to side with either person. I hope you didn't feel like Idisadvantaged you, that is not my desire.

Fine by me Kaze. Let's just forget about the mess and focus on gaming - that's what we are here for afterall. Without going into details - I think both games are great. I wish you fun with titles you buy :D

BTW: Great works on Deviant Art. Autum and Bob Ross Inspired Landscape are my favs. Nice drawings.

I like how they both maintain a kind of pick up and play atmosphere but the second game feels like it's better at inviting you to spend time with it whereas the first game is great for short bursts. Although I still cannot figure out what you're playing as besides a "time bird", considering you can't fly I'd guess a chicken or a really yellow penguin but that's probably just me thinking too much.

And thanks. I keep forgetting I linked that on steam at some point.

I think the second game is more friendly overall. It's easier imo as well.
