Untouchable and Unstoppable

So recently I've begun playing through hard mode and I'm kind of curious to whether or not playing it on hard would disqualify me from getting the achievements. Since there are already no life capsules I would just like to know if anyone knows an answer. I'd really like to get them while playing hard mode.

You can get a life captule from Jenka's puppy in Plantation before entering Last Cave. Getting that will disqualify you from getting those achievements, but otherwise I see no problem. Except of course that with just 3 life and without Missile Launcher you'll have to take the hard way. But if you're up for it I wish you a lot of luck.

Hang on. Getting Bubbleline is also not allowed. Correct?

Why wouldn't it be? I'm pretty sure I used Bubbline against Monster X when playing on Hard, and when I did Unstoppable I had it as well.

Because there are runs that you don't pick up anything. Including Bubbline.
So finishing Hell with 3HP + Polar Star + Fireball + Blade.
I thought that was the condition to get Unstoppable.

I think it's just 3hp. The minimal runs are just for bragging rights, I guess. I heard you can also get the achievements on easy, and that how I'd do it. I beat the Undead Core on hard (got the life capsule) and that run was tough enough. Getting back to that point on easy with 3hp shouldn't be nearly as hard, especially when you know what to do.

Edit: Heh, after posting this I decided to play the game with 3hp on easy and it was a breeze, I even got through the last cave with 5 tries or so and beat the Undead Core on the first try. And yeah, got the achievement and had Bubbline, Spur and Whimsical Star so the items or the difficulty don't matter.
