When the skill description says Strike ...
I'm curious. When a skill description simply says " such and such will occur when you strike an enemy " does this include skills as well as your normal attack? Or does it mean the skill only activates when you perform a normal attack.

Not sure. I'm certain Heavy Lifting applies its stun effect on some of my skills, but most of my attack skills require a melee greatweapon. Dunno if it works with skills that don't need it.

Most On-Strike skills seem to trigger off abilities as well. I've noticed this mainly on my Embermage as they have nebulously worded passives that deal bonus elemental damage on targets afflicted by an elemental effect (Fire damage on Burn, Frost damage on Frozen, etc.). I'm not fond of the many unclear tooltips in class skill trees, this one included, but "Striking" appears to mean attacking an enemy in general, whether it be with Physical or Elemental damage, direct weapon or ability.

Sounds good. I see alot of skills with that term ' Strike ' for the Zerk, so I will just have to test them out and respec if it turns out to be a normal strike only type attack.
