No. You have to build a new character.

there's a console command to refund skill points and a few mods that will add a respec potion to your stash.
Console will flag you as a cheater, the potions will not.

That respec system is there in case you might try out a new skill but end up not liking it. It's limited so there is a bit of permanence with your decisions.

actually in the main town there will be a ,merchant type npc that will allow you to the game actually tells you this just letting ya know

I'm new to all of this. I just started playing my first game, Torchlighr2 about a month ago.

I would like to know how to redeem my skill points. I've earned 45 points and I don't know what to do with them, and is there any place where I can get written insturctions for how to use some of the skills and tools I hav acquired?

If you don't mind using a program to tweak things around, use Rapid Respec, a character editor - not only does this allow you to redistribute all your skill points, you can do the same to your stat points, as well as change your characters sex, name and other stuff. The best thing of all is it doesn't label you a cheater - I used it to change my Engineer from a cannon focused summoner build to a faster paced melee build, a wonderful time saver.

or you can download a save where your stash is full of respec potions, take a few and then put your stash back again. you wont get flagged and have a few easy skill point respecs

Or...you know...just download a respec mod which gives vendors Respec Potions.

Respec Potion mod is only half the solution if your mid to end game though, I mean, you don't want to respec into an elemental based skill when your off your tits on Strength, no?

question ... log in page says there is a free DLC to have 2 pets ... I can't find that.. do you know where to find this ?

The DLC was simply part of a previous patch, the 2 pets were Owl and Badger.
